Why is it that people just don't have faith in others anymore? Is there any good left in the world or are we all manipulative and spiteful people who will do whatever it takes to get ahead?

idk to be honest, I think and speak for myself, not others...but, I don't have to be manipulative I usually ask someone something and it's a yes or no question, sometimes manipulative people are good to motivate the ones who can't do things themselves.
